"As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning." Luke 9:29
Kyle...while I'm bugging him with the camera.
He's trying to ignore me.
But I love his funny faces.
What a ham!
Faces can tell a lot about a person.
It can show whether we are happy, sad, mad, afraid, or at peace.
God's Word says that the appearance of a man's face changes as he prays.
As my children face difficult things in life, I want them to find that prayer is the place to go!
It changes their circumstances, their feelings, their future,
And the look on their face.
Prayer makes a difference.
Lord, prayer is such a wonderful part of our relationship with you. You allow your children to speak to you as a man speaks to his friend. I pray that Alyssa and Kyle find you as their greatest friend, and go to you on a daily basis in prayer. May prayer be for them like chatting with their very best friend. When they are afraid, may they look to you as their strength and shelter. As they face struggles, may they come to you for wisdom, understanding, and instruction. Knowing they have hopes and dreams, may they look to you, and know that you will hear their heart. Lord, may our children trust in you with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge you, for You, will make their paths straight!
