This is the message I pray Alyssa and Kyle hear from Jesus and declare to others: You God are light, and there is no darkness in You at all. So Alyssa and Kyle will be lying if they say they have fellowship with You but go on living in spiritual darkness; and they are not practicing the truth. But if Alyssa and Kyle are living in the light, as You are in the light, then they have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, Your Son, cleanses them from all sin.
If Alyssa and Kyle claim they have no sin, they are only fooling themselves and are not living in the truth. But if Alyssa and Kyle confess their sins to You, You are faithful and just to forgive them their sins and to cleanse them from all wickedness. If Alyssa and Kyle clam they have not sinned they are calling You a liar and are showing that Your word has no place in their hearts.
