God is Bigger

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better."  Ephesians 1:17

I read this yesterday and loved it...
In the book Prince Caspian, Lucy sees Aslan, the lion, for the first time in many years.  He has changed since their last encounter.  His size surprises her, ad she tells him as much.
"Aslan" said Lucy, "you're bigger."
"That is because you are older, little one," answered he.
"Not because you are?"
"I am not.  But every year you grow, you will find me bigger."
And so it is with Christ.  The longer we live in him, the greater he becomes in us.  It's not that he changes but that we do; we see more of him.  We see dimensions, aspects, and characteristics we never saw before, increasing and astonishing increments of his purity, power, and uniqueness.  (Fearless by Max Lucado, page 170)

That's how I want it to be for Alyssa and Kyle. I want the Lord to become bigger and bigger in their life, and their learning about Him just get deeper and deeper.  There is so much we can't fully comprehend about God, but the joy is, that He's always allowing us the opportunity to know Him more.

Alyssa and Kyle, live in Christ, and you will see Him in ways you can hardly imagine!

Lord, what a big, big God you are.  So often we can hardly fathom your greatness, your holiness, and your majesty.  However, the more time we spend with you,the greater you become in our understanding.  I pray, dear Jesus, that Alyssa and Kyle choose to get to know you deeper and deeper.  Today can be the beginning of a wonderful adventure with you!  Oh, I pray it is so!
