Lord, I won't stop praying for Alyssa and Kyle, asking you to give them wise minds and spirits attuned to your will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which you work.

I pray that Alyssa and Kyle will live well for you, the Master, making you proud of them as they work hard in your orchard. As Alyssa and Kyle learn more and more how you work, I pray that they will learn how to do the work you have for them.

I pray that Alyssa and Kyle will have the strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength you, Lord, give. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking you who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that you have for us.
