As of today, BOTH kids are in school! What's a mother to do?!?
Lord, be near Alyssa and Kyle today as they are at school. May this school year be one marked with great joy, abundant learning, and great memories that will last them a lifetime. Go ahead of them, and behind them, surrounding them with your guiding and abiding presence. Help them to be strong and courageous with every choice, standing firm for you. May their teachers be a light in their lives, stretching them to be better than they can imagine, encouraging them to work harder than they ever thought they could, and learn more than they ever could on their own. Lord, be the firm foundation in Alyssa and Kyle's life! Bless this new school year, dear Jesus!

It was a busy but grand day. If the lawn hadn't needed to be mowed and groceries bought, I would have loved it much better! :) Can't wait for you to do your happy dance next week!
