Salvation Saturday

“But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
   whose confidence is in him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water
   that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
   its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
   and never fails to bear fruit.” 

--Jeremiah 17:7-8

Lord, I pray that Alyssa and Kyle's confidence is in you.  The seed of knowledge about who you are has been planted in their hearts, and I pray that that seed takes root and grows down deep into the You, the one true foundation of their life.   Because you are their strength and hope, I know that when heat or drought comes, they will live, and even live abundantly.  May Alyssa and Kyle know that to be true as well.  Blessed will they be because they put their trust in you, precious Savior.
