Preparing the pose for our Christmas picture (2007)
Imitating you, Lord, in everything they do, is my prayer for Alyssa and Kyle, because they are your dear children. May they live a life filled with love, following the example of your son Jesus Christ. He loved Alyssa and Kyle and offered himself as a sacrifice for them, a pleasing aroma to you.
Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed in Alyssa and Kyle. Such sins have no place among your people. Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness from Alyssa and Kyle to you. You say that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit your Kingdom. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.
I pray that Alyssa and Kyle carefully determine what pleases you, Lord.
