Lord, you are the light of the world. Thank you for dispelling darkness, bringing hope, and filling us with truth and love. Your light lives in us, and in turn we can shine your light to others. Lord, may my kids live as children of light, and have lives that consist of goodness, righteousness and truth. Use my kids to be light in a world that desperately needs you. Teach them to shine your light to the lonely, hurting, angry, unloved, and may not know the hope you have to offer. I pray that they find the tenacity to let their light shine before men, in all that they say and do, and through all the days of their lives. Thank you, Jesus, for being our light, and the light of the world!
