Lyss in the driver's seat...from my view in the back seat
Yesterday we spent our Labor Day making a 9 hour drive home from a weekend away visiting Ken's family. The newest driver of our family was behind the wheel over 6 of those hours. Lyss came a long way in making the curves, going up hills, and keeping up a steady speed. Before we know it she will have enough experience to take her drivers test and be out driving out on her own.
I'm praying all the time that God spreads His protection over both our kids...especially as they begin getting behind the wheel.
Oh Jesus, be Alyssa and Kyle's protection. Go ahead of them, and behind them, making their way safe. Command your angels concerning Alyssa and Kyle to guard them in all their ways. Please answer them when they are in distress. You are their refuge and strength. Protect them always, dear Father!
