Eyes of Faith

 Kyle & Lyss (2004)

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out,

“Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him,
 and he asked them,

“Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

“Yes, Lord,” they replied.

Then he touched their eyes and said,

“According to your faith will it be done to you”  Mark 9:27-29

From an early age Alyssa and Kyle have heard about Jesus.  They've been a part of Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, church camp, and of course always a weekly dose of Sunday morning worship.  They've heard the stories.  They've witnessed lives being changed.  They have been told of the ways God answers prayer.

They've heard, but do they really see?

I pray that their eyes are opened, and that they believe with their heart that God is who He says, and is able to do more than they can imagine.

May their faith grow deep, high and wide!

Lord, I pray that Alyssa and Kyle believe in you with all their heart, mind, and soul!  I pray that they know and trust that you are able.  Deepen their faith, stretch their trust, and open their eyes that they may see and know you for themselves.  You are King of Kings and Lord of Lord, and I know you are able to keep that which I have entrusted to you today.
